Hello all, I’ve been off on my own adventures for the past 6 weeks, avoiding the winter by travelling with my 20 month old to New Zealand and Australia. Now we’re back in Balham, the daffodils are out and I’m looking forward to starting up Story Island storytelling sessions again at the wonderful Skylark Cafe on Wandsworth Common. Sessions start Friday 4th March and run every Friday from 11-11.30pm with lots of singing, rhymes, props, and stories to engage your little one. Five pounds per child with siblings free. Hope to see you there!

A lovely review of Story Island storytelling for little ones at Skylark Cafe

Standard

I received a lovely review from one of the participants at my regular Friday storytelling session for babies and toddlers. Here it is!

“Story Island at Skylark Cafe is an amazing magical group for little ones (and adults too!). We had lots of fun having adventures on our picnic and acting out the story through songs, rhymes and props. Emily creates such a personal welcome and a creative environment for children to explore, develop and use their imagination. The group is very child focused and encourages you and your child to re-live the story together. The best thing about it is you can be any age to enjoy this group as each story brings many different experiences for you and your child. We look forward to more adventures on Story Island with Emily” Lizzie Marsden, Nanny

Thanks Lizzie!
